This position is responsible for providing fast, friendly, and world-class Amplified Service to all guests.  We are looking for fast-paced, multi-tasking, accurate, efficient, and “eager to serve” individuals out there to come join our Slot family here at Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati! 

Responsibilities

    • Always promotes positive public/employee relations by providing friendly service to players and being available to meet their needs.
    • Assists in loyalty program account creations, player information updates and general customer management system functions.
    • Upholds all regulatory requirements.
    • Ensures accuracy in all responsibilities, including cash handling, procedural requirements, logging, and processing paperwork.
    • Responsible for cash banks issued and tickets.
    • Pays jackpots. Assists in the verification and payment of jackpots.
    • Makes change for players.
    • Follows departmental procedures and assists in the protection of gaming operations from loss due to mistake or theft.
    • Provides instructions for SLOT play.
    • Reports emergencies such as intoxicated, obnoxious or cheating persons immediately to the supervisor.
    • Reports any SLOT machines that are not working and troubleshoots games as needed.
    • Functions as dispatcher to communicate floor needs and information to coworkers; balances urgency with grace under pressure.
    • Maintains a clean safe and sound area for all guests.
    • Endorses the business objectives, ethics and values of the Company
    • Any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a customer service-based environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of all casino slot machines and games are required.
  • Must possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities.
  • Must be able to balance cash bank.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written.
  • Must possess the ability to show grace and compassion in all circumstances.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays (flexible)
  • Ability to obtain a Gaming Occupational License within the state of Ohio.

Additional Details

  • The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public. 
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
